  1. Bada OS looks promising

  2. Looks like a really nice phone. The only thing I’m not so sure about is that central button or d-pad. I’d prefer a standard (Nokia style) 4 directional pad or a trackball.

  3. @de: I agree. That central button, if indeed it’s a button, it’s kind of strange. Everything else looks good. I especially like the BATTERY/CPU/STORAGE gauge.

  4. …It has Bluetooth 3.0…

  5. Do not buy this device, whatever you do. Samsung devices may look very promising when you look at the specs of the hardware that they use (for example, bluetooth 3.0, 720p video recording, “super amoled”) — but the software and support after you buy the product is straight up garbage and among the worst ever in the world. I know, I bought the OmniaHD last year, and I watched Samsung spew out excuse after excuse, and to this day, the device doesn’t even perform the features they advertised it as being able to do. The main thing of course was 720p video recording — too bad it drops frames all over the place and the audio is garbage quality. We asked Samsung about this, and they admitted that they were seeing these same issues across the board over ALL their handsets. Why should this one be ANY different? I’ll bet you it will drop frames and have garbage quality audio — JUST like the OmniaHD. Then when users get mad and pissed that the product doesn’t live up to it’s ads or specifications, Samsung will make excuses and tell you to buy their next product.

  6. By the way, the OS looks like a fucking rip off of S60v5 — it’s almost EXACTLY the same. What are they trying to accomplish with this nonsense?
Why couldn’t they have just made the OmniaHD the device it deserved to be? Die samsung, you bastards!!

  7. Samsung May is to himself that only look good: P I wonder also how it will operate the new Bada OS ;)

  8. Love it. HOT. Can’t wait to hear more about the OS.

  9. this phone looks decent, but we dont know anything but specifications. we can say its good, say its bad or be like surge and just bag out on one phone that samsung didnt get right. shit happends sometimes, thats the way it is. since this is brand new, even if it is a hit, i dont expect it to be any different to the iphone when it first came out, buggy as all hell and crap. hopefully samsung does the right thing and releases the SDK before they release the phone!!!!
1st version of everything wont be be the best, its basically a prototype to what is yet to be made.
look at the n900, that came out with no mms, no java etc, now its getting applications for all over the place. but we shall wait and see before we can assume anything!!!!

  10. @ TouchWiz 3.0 .. BIG FAIL .. ZERO customization :S

  11. This will be a succes! ;)
