Sony without the Ericsson?

Sony, in it’s bid to continue the battle in the Mobile Communications Industry has made the move to buy out it’s Swedish counterpart in effort to create new products without restrictions.

The makers of the wildly popular Playstation, is speculated to use their Tablets, Smartphones and Handheld Gaming Units in conjunction with each other to develop future products to remain competitive in a market where they are currently ranked 6th in the world. This placing on the world stage obviously does not sit well with the Sony Company heads, as they press forward to purchase Ericsson's roughly $1.3 to $1.7 billion worth of mobile technology patents. Look forward to the upcoming product cycles, as this strategy may prove to be interesting once it is settled and done.
