14 01 2012 Samsung will be merging Bada with Tizen Operating Systems Posted by: MASMedia in MeeGo, Samsung Rather tha open-source it's bada feature phone OS, as earlier reports may have suggested, Samsung has decided to play nice with the Intel-backed Tizen project. When all is said and done, Bada apps will feature backwards compatibility with Tizen. Developers will also be provided with a new SDK and API. Of course, Tizen is the spiritual successor of the MeeGo OS. We should see a release of the OS on a least a couple of Samsung's featurephone lineup.
