One of the thing I love about the N9 are the apps, while there are not a ton of them out there the ones that are out there work seamlessly with the OS. Case in point is SwipeManager. SwipeManager simply allows you to change what happens when you are in an app and "swipe it away". By default on the N9 if you swipe down this will close out the app you are using. If you swipe any other way (right, left, down) it will take you back to the last "home screen" you were using.
Once SwipeManager is installed you can change a swipe in any direction to do what you want it to.
- Switcher Which is your all open apps screen
- Close Which would simple close the app
- Away Which simply act as the default /just swipe the app away
- Events Which would bring up your Events homescreen
- Launcher Which would bring up your apps screen
I did a quick hands on of SwipeManager so you can see it in action:
If you need more information or you want to download it, you can do so here.
