Looks like Smartphones Killed Books Too

The latest number are out and it's not looking good for books. Don't get me wrong people still read just the way they read has shifted dramatically.
For the first time ever profits on EBook sales have surpassed hardcover book profits. According to the latest figures, from GalleyCat they show that net sales revenue from ebooks surpassed that of their hardcover breathen in the first quarter of the year.
Not only that but profits from Ebook sales are set to surpass paperback sales by this time next year. Now I am not saying all of these sales are from smartphones (ebook readers are now widely popular) but it seem most of the people that I know have upgraded to a four inch plus smartphone and have left their EReaders behind for the convenience of an all in one smartphone experience.
How are you reading your books these days?
