Wikipedia: for Android, iOS(named Wikipedia Mobile) and Blackberry:
This is official Wikipedia app and displays Wikipedia in 280-odd languages. You can share the information using the Share function while another useful- Search Nearby, gives you information about events happening nearby using Geo-tagging. (The map is built on OpenSteetMaps using MapQuest tiles.) The UI is easy, no-frills and has full screen search function which helps find pages quickly. The Homepage displays article of the day.
The problem is that this app is read-only version and does not support logging in.
Wikipedia beta for Android
This is a beta version (v1.4) for Android. It has all the functions of above app plus a night theme called Solarized Dark and the search bar auto hides after a few moments. The new typography adds to the appeal of the UI. Languages like Arabic that are read right-to-left have better support in this version. However a word of caution, this is still a beta version and spring some surprises.
