The Wall Street Journal reports (according to "a person with direct knowledge of the project") that Acer is planning to launch an Android tablet priced around $99 early next year.
Images and specs of the Acer Iconia B1 leaked on a Serbian forum and according to the leaks the B1 will feature: a 7-inch 1024x600 display (169ppi), Mediatek Dual Core processor clocked at 1.2 GHz, 512 MB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage (expandable up to 32 GB via microSD card), Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, 2,710 mAh battery (a little bit disappointing) and will run Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean.
The B1 will cost only $99 and is expected to be launched in January 2013. Not a bad price.
What do you think guys?
