Nokia Quadcore Device Shows Up on Benchmark Site
It looks like Nokia is almost ready for the green light from Microsoft to produce Quad-Core Lumia Devices. As you can see in the above chart Nokia has a Quad Core device with a Adreno 305 processor running Windows Phone 8 in the works. However, sadly it seems that limit for screen resolution still stands at 720p for the moment.
While Windows Phone is not a memory/power hog it is to be noted that this device scored better than it's dual core brethren in graphics tests.
My theory is not only does Nokia/Microsoft want their devices to process as quick (if not even quicker) than their Android counterparts but also that Microsoft will bring more X-Box titles exclusively to Windows Phone and they need more power to make sure they run smoothly.
