Follow today’s FIFA World Cup Draw with the official FIFA app

In a few hours, the FIFA World Cup Draw will take place and tell football/soccer fans where the groups where their beloved national teams will play in the World Cup. If you can’t be near a television to see the draw take place, or if you just want to have some extra information while you wait, try out this app.

The FIFA Official App is the official app of the world football governing body and organizer of its quadrennial tournament. The app will be especially useful today because of its Live section that features news stories, short alerts, photos, and videos presented during the draw. During the tournament in Brazil this summer, FIFA will also come in handy with the World Match Centre, a section that reveals scores for certain matches. You can set it to highlight favorite teams, so the Match Centre can keep track of your favorite national teams, like Brazil or Germany, and your favorite club teams, like Flamengo or Bayern Munich.

Other features in the app include FIFA Rankings, news stories drawn from FIFA.com, information about host cities and venues for the World Cup, and the ability to search for news, photos, or videos. The app is free and available for Android or iPhone.
