If you are interested in getting the Google/Huawei Nexus 6P, then you can sweeten the deal by grabbing the fantastic Huawei Watch for $50 off its price. Of course, the Nexus 6P is splendid standing all on its own, but getting the wearable at a cut rate may be appealing to some, especially considering the Huawei Watch is one of the best looking smartwatches ever made.

You may be pulling your hair out if you already pre-ordered the Nexus 6P and missed out on the Huawei Watch deal, but luckily you can still take advantage of this offer. As for the Nexus, don’t expect to be receiving your handset any time soon if you purchase it today as shipment dates have been pushed back to mid-December because of strong demand.

The Nexus 6P is a high end smartphone boasting leading specs such as a 5.7-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1440 by 2560 pixels, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 chipset, 3GB of RAM, and a 12MP primary camera.

Now, the debate about whether a smartwatch should look like a traditional timepiece rages one, but for my money I want a wearable that looks like a good old fashioned watch. The Huawei Watch fits that, as do a number of other wearables on the market now; it really seems as though the market is reaching puberty and maturing.

Back to Huawei's effort. The watch oozes a premium look thanks to a sapphire screen, "cold-forged" scratch resistant stainless steel, and a number of luxury straps. Unlike the Apple Watch, Huawei's product looks good in any of its guises, be that gold, silver, or black. At 42mm, this is a small smartwatch, but it comes with the now familiar set of Android Wear specs.

That means the Huawei Watch gets a 1.4-inch AMOLED 400 x 400 screen, a 6-axis motion sensor, and a Snapdragon 400 processor. It really seems as though the smartwatch fight will be won with aesthetics more than it will raw hardware.
