Google Tweet Lands Company in Trouble with Nexus Consumers

Liar, liar, pants on fire. Google has got itself into some trouble with consumers who have recently bought the LG Nexus 5X and Huawei Nexus 6P smartphones, and it’s all over a tweet. The Android company behind the Nexus handsets said that it was shipping orders on a first come, first serve basis. However, consumers were quick to point out that is not the case at all.

After the tweet was sent out, consumer started showing proof that their handsets were purchased before others, but they got their device later. Google’s reply was to say “Some models have different wait times” which is of course true, the Nexus 5X ships quicker than the Nexus 6P, while storage variations and other things need to be taken into account.

However, this too was quickly shown to not be true as consumers started showing proof from same models, revealing that it is not a first come, first serve basis at all.
