Samsung Galaxy S7 Renders (Offical!)

s7angle-930x621Last year’s Galaxy S6 was Samsung overhauling its flagship range. It was a ground up build that aimed to change the company’s direction, something it succeeded in doing with its premium metal and glass construction. With that in mind, it was unlikely that Sammy would embark on a radical design shift again for the follow up Galaxy S7, and so it proves as these reportedly official renders prove.

Leaked by noted (and often correct) tipster, @EvLeaks, the images show the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge in all their official and ready to launch glory. As you can see, changes compared to last year’s S6 are minor, which again is not necessarily a bad thing and was to be expected. We are still getting a beautiful smartphone regardless.

The regular Galaxy S7 looks almost equal to its predecessor, but the Galaxy S7 Edge while looking aesthetically the same will reportedly have a screen bump from 5.1-inch on the S6 to 5.5-inch. The image you see above seems to support that idea.

Samsung’s upcoming flagship will be launched at the end of February at MWC and will come with Samsung’s new Exynos 8890 or Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 (depending on market) CPU. Other specs include 4GB of RAM, Quad HD screen resolution, a 12 megapixel camera, and Samsung is upping the ante this time by apparently including micro-SD support and waterproofing.
