LG ENV (VX9900)

If you are looking for a mobile phone with more text messaging features, then you should consider the EnV by LG. From the outside it looks like a standard mobile phone, however you can turn the phone horizontally and slide open the cover to reveal a full QWERTY keypad, which makes texting a lot easier. If you are like me, then you probably check your email several times per day so with the EnV, you can sync your phone up with your email and have access to all of your messages. You can even access Yahoo Mobile Instant Messaging, so you can keep in touch with your friends no matter where you are. The EnV also comes equipped with VZ Navigator, which is a GPS system that can give you turn-by-turn directions. This phone can be treated like a MP3 Player where you can download music and organize your songs by different playlists. If you use your phone like a portable photo album like I do, then this phone is perfect since you can take pictures and video as well. This phone is perfect for people who do a lot of texting or who need to keep in touch with people all day via email or instant messaging.

LG Chocolate (VX8500)

If you want a phone that is stylish and can do it all, then consider the LG Chocolate. It is available in four colors: black, white, green, and red. You can play music, download video, and even surf the web. I love how you can use other functions on the phone, while your music is playing, allowing you to multitask. You can purchase a separate memory card, which would enable you to store up to one thousand pictures. You can set up to ninety-eight speed dial contacts and store up to five hundred address book contacts. It has the slider look, meaning you can hide the buttons by sliding the cover closed. It is Bluetooth enabled and you can also use your Bluetooth headset to listen to music. You can record up to one hour of video, which is a long time for a mobile phone. There are modes on the video/camera so that you can take clear pictures even at night. It does have the basic features that most mobile phones have such as alarm, calculator and notepad. It is an MP3 player, phone, camera, and computer, all in one sleek designer package.
