FTC StatesThrottled Data No Longer “Unlimited”

The FTC made ruling the other day that could have far reaching implications for the the wireless industry as a whole.  In the ruling they have made it clear that offering "unlimited data" while throttling data speed is not truly unlimited data.  They felt so strongly about this that in a case against TracFone they handed out a $40 million fine.
