It seems that congress and Tim Cook will be having a meeting about Apples "tax avoidance". How much are we talking about here? In a report about Apple chairman Carl Levin said "Apple sought the Holy Grail of tax avoidance. It has created offshore entities holding tens of billions of dollars, while claiming to be tax resident nowhere." How exactly do you do this? According to Senate committee said Apple had used "a complex web of offshore entities" so not to pay billions of dollars in US income taxes.

While LG is slowly making a comeback in the mobile space they are about to unveil a technology that might make that rise just a little quicker. What is it? It is a flexible, plastic, unbreakable OLED panel. This display will have a mind blowing 1mm wide bezel. While this will not immediately bring rise to the flexible smartphone (batteries, cameras, etc... must be flexible first.) it is a step in that direction. Plus who wouldn't a device with an unbreakable screen? Need more information? I have posted the full press release after the jump.

The war between Google and Microsoft rages on. In the latest round Google want Microsoft to take down it's "official" YouTube app down from the Windows Phone Store because it has the ability to download videos and it has no ads. Microsoft struck back with a statement that in summary states it's your fault there are no ad's because you have not opened your API up to us. You open up your API we will have ads.
