For those iOS users who were drooling over the Android's "Google Now" app they might not have to drool much longer. According to a report from Engadget Google may be putting it's feud with Apple aside in the name of ad revenue. There was a "low resolution version of a promotional video for Google Now on iPhone and iPad" on YouTube and has been pulled since. I am assuming the above screenshot is from the video.

Above is a supposed "leaked screenshot" for an Instagram app for Windows Phone devices. While it looks legitimate enough I somehow doubt it is. My feeling on this one is that the maker of this screenshot @anontechleak is just looking to get attention to his Twitter account and figured this was the easiest way. android virus 011 500x333 68,740 or 1 in 10 Apps in the Google Play Store are Malware

There was some research done by Trend Micro that looked at two million apps for available for Android devices and found out that "450,000 - or 23% - were found to be outright malicious or high risk." This includes apps that are not available in the Google Play store itself. If you are going with only the apps that you can only get from Google's Play store the number drops to 68,740 or about 1 in 10 apps are malware.

htc one black 500x318 HTC One Supply Might be Limited Due to Camera Parts Shortage

It seems HTC's comeback may be put on hold for a little while they try to figure out how get parts for it's ultra-pixel camera module. These parts are said to be "severely limited" at the moment so much so that HTC has cut it's production projection of the HTC One by Eighty percent! To put this is in real world terms HTC will only be able to produce 800,000-1.2 million HTC One units in this upcoming quarter.
