Because I am lucky enough to get a lot of different phones to test I get to use the gambit of Mobile Operating Systems. As I was testing the Samsung Note I couldn't help but feel that it was tad slower than the HTC Titan II.

It seems that when it comes to phones larger is better and when it comes to SIMs they can't get small enough. It seems the ETSI (European Telecommunications Standards Institute) just agreed upon a '4FF' (4th Form Factor) SIM card.
