The HTC One's 4-megapixel (UltraPixel) main camera is one of the most touted new features by the Taiwanese manufacturer. When first reviews of the handset hit the net there were some "mixed" results. Some reviewers were not pleased with the performance of the camera and we heard comments like photos are muddy, washed-out and without much details. But it looks like HTC addressed the issue and updated the camera software and all commercial units which will hit the stores in April will come with the new software preloaded.
The guys over at Hardware Zone had a chance to compare the camera of the HTC One with older pre-release and new software and the difference in quality of the photos is quite obvious.
Check "before and after" photos after the break.
