The cross-platform application and UI framework Qt has just got is importance in an all new level now that it's been used successfully under Android OS. This means good news for Android users that will be able to use Qt based apps but also Symbian, Maemo and Meego that will probably see more developers embrace this new platform. In fact, for developers, Qt can be the solution to develop apps that can reach a wider range of users across OS's, including the 2 principal OS currently on the market: Android and Symbian. The tests made also demonstrate that Qt apps not only run under different phones and OS but also run on Tablets with different resolutions. Check the videos after the break.

This is a small update video related to CybercomLab last video. On this video they demonstrate the same QML based UI on top of MeeGo with the same functionality as in the previous video, but with better performance. Video after the break!
Cybercom have built a small MeeGo phone UI on top of Media Parallax Desktop and this video demostrates about the UI and making phone call with the phone. The UI runs on N900.
