Google is the world's most popular search engine by a very large margin, despite Microsoft sinking billions of dollars into its Bing search engine. Microsoft wants even more people to use Bing, so it is now offering Android and iPhone points to redeem for gifts if they use the search engine consistently. Windows Phone users will have to wait a little while longer for the same privilege.

OneDrive 500x266 Goodbye SkyDrive, Hello OneDrive

If you recall earlier last year, Microsoft was taken to court by  British Sky Broadcasting Group for using the name "SkyDrive" claiming that it infringed on the "Sky" trademark. (SkyDrive is the place where all Windows Phones back up in the cloud, and it also has apps for Android, iOS, and the web.) Because of this litigation, Microsoft is changing the name of SkyDrive to OneDrive. Microsoft promises that this transition will be seamless to current SkyDrive users; you won't have to do anything other than recognize when the new name and website launch, so your data will be fine. charge HTC Stops Automatic Boot Upon Charging on Windows Phone Devices

One of the things about Windows Phone OS that has annoyed and mystified users from Windows Phone 7 to the current version of Windows Phone 8 is it's insistence on booting up the device simply because it's plugged in. This "feature" not only causes your phone to charge more slowly but even causes the "infinite reboot" issue on some Lumia devices.  Now it looks like HTC finally did something about it in the latest update.

Lumia 929 Verizon 500x347 Hands on Video of the Nokia Lumia 929 Leaks
