Motorola accomplished something rare when it managed to release the Moto X on all four major carriers, but it did so without one of its best features - the MotoMaker tool that lets users choose the colors for their phones. Flex Motorola Moto X factory in Texas   Video Tour

The Motorola Moto X is the first smartphone designed and assembled in the USA. The factory that assembles the Moto X is owned by Flextronics (used to be a Nokia factory) and is located in Fort Worth, Texas.

Check the video tour (after the break) of the facility and what Texas Gov. Rick Perry, Google's Chairman Eric Schmidt and Motorola's CEO Dennis Woodside said at the tour event.
