Internet giant Google filed a patent claim against software giant Microsoft and its mobile partner Nokia accusing both companies of illegally feeding mobile patents to MOSAID Technologies Inc., a company that specializes in collecting royalties on intellectual property. Google asserts that this could potentially drive up the prices of cellphones and other wireless devices.
