It has been rumored for a while now that Nokia was releasing another low end device in the Mexican Market to compete with lower priced Android devices. Well that device was officially announced by Nokia and it's the Nokia Lumia 505. The Lumia 505 is a Window Phone 7.8 device and is an offshoot of the Lumia 510.

Alcatel has launched a Windows Phone 7 device called the Alcatel One Touch. This is not a shock to me it has been rumored for a while now that Alcatel was going to get into the Windows Phone game. What does shock me is the low specs on this device.

One of the issues that has been plaguing Windows Phone users since it came out was the fact that your WiFi connection turns itself off as soon as your device locks itself. This has always made very little sense to me and there has even been a few apps developed for the market place to fool the phone to keep the WiFi on. Sadly they only worked part of the time and in some cases even made your phone "buggy".
